I’m so glad you’re here!

Hi, I’m Lydia—the heart behind Film x Lydia. I’m currently working toward my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College, but when I’m not in class or studying, you’ll most likely find me with a camera in hand. Storytelling through film has become one of my greatest passions, and I love getting to share that with others.

I grew up on a small crop and cattle farm in eastern Iowa, where I learned to appreciate fresh air, hard work, and the simple joys in life. I try to live a life that reflects gratitude—for the people I love, the life I get to live, and the God who so graciously gave it all to me. Outside of filming, I love spending time with my family (especially my sweet niece, Maggie), being at livestock shows, and enjoying the farm life that raised me.

Film x Lydia is my way of preserving life’s little, meaningful moments—the ones that often slip by too quickly. I believe it’s the small things, like laughter, glances, and quiet in-between moments, that make the best stories. My heart is to capture those for you, so you can relive them again and again.

If that’s what you’re looking for in a film, let’s be friends :)
